Re: Is Rough Country Lifts any good? someone?

I put a Rough Country 3" lift on my '76 Waggie and the name of the company does describe how it rode, ROUGH! I think a Sherman Tank probably rode smoother than my Waggie. Save your money for an OME kit or perhaps someone else might be able to reccomend something less expensive.

Just like Tim said "Rough". I had their lift on a 96 XJ and was not impressed. Do yourself a favor and save up for a better quality lift, you'll be thankful in the long run. I had the Superlift on my 95YJ and was pretty happy with it. I got if from http://www.natltire.com for a little under $500 and that included shipping. I only got to wheel with it a couple of times before my YJ was totalled but I was satisfied with the peformance.
