4.0 on a 4.2

I have a 1990 wrangler with the 4.2/258. I have been looking at rebuilding/upgrading it and had a few questions. I was wondering if it was possible to take the header and fuel injection unit from a 1995+ 4.0 engine and put it on mine. I have read that you can do the header but I don't know anybody around me that has had it done. My friends prefer to jump to the 350. I haven't done a project this big on my jeep and am a little worried. How difficult us it to do this? Approximate cost? Anybody have parts that I could buy from to start collecting the neccessary parts.
Thank you

Get the head, header, intake, all fuel injection stuff, and the computer, from a donor cherokee, (supposedly the MPI is based on a 1994 Cherokee), and have fun. YOu will need to purchase a balancer and pickup from Chrysler? for firing the set-up, the factory set-up has it on the flywheel and I don't believe the flywheel is interchangable between the two.

Good Luck.

If you cant find a donor vehicle, you might be better off purchasing the MPI kit.

Just my 2 cents.
