Carb Woes - 2100 MC on a 304

Got a 76 CJ with a Motorcraft 2100 carb on a 304. Yesterday while running some snow berms, it died twice after being under load while going thru a drift slowly. It also seems to bog a bit while under load. It doesn't seem to do it when you are on the road and floor it, only when trying to power thru something. I rebuilt the carb, have a new fuel pump, tank, etc. Could I be starving the carb a bit? The only bad thing in my fuel system is the 10ft of 3/8" fuel hose hose I ran from the front of the block to the tank. Could this be collapsing under load? I intend to run steel line this week!

If you eliminated to return flow line to the tank (The line that goes back to the tank from the fuel filter. The filter has two out flow ports.), it could explain your problem. This has been on the board before.

Good Luck
