A better way to do this is to take the main headlight wire through a relay and have this controled by the switched hot wire from your ignition. This way when you turn the engine off the lights go off too. I did this with my lights after I did the same thing. (leave lights on) I have no more problems.

I have to laugh...

...because I see the exact opposite question on the Toyota mailing lists and BBS all the time - they all want to know how to get rid of that annoying buzzer

Maybe Jeeps & Toys should work out some kind of buzzer exchange program?

At autozone you can buy buzzers that tell you if you left your lights on.I think it goes into your fuse panel or something.

If knowledge=power and time=money.. please donate all your time and knowledge to my jeep!

You need the "Alert Alarm", Part number 76669, from Custom Accessories. The products are avaliable at most autoparts stores. If you can't find one, it can be orderd at this url:

http://www.causa.com/product_detail....=41409&-search

I've got one, and paid $4 for it. It's less expensive than buying a buzzer and the other components from Radio Shack and making your own.... It installs in about 20 minutes. It's so simple even I can do it. If you have any questions about it let me know.

Simple, just turn the key to the aux position and you have lights.
