Spark Plug Wire problems.

Hey guys,

I have a CJ7 w/305. It has a mallory ignition setup.

When I went to buy wires everybody said I would have to make a set. I ended up buying a set of morosso wires and they worked but I can't keep them away from the headers...2 have already burnt up. I have no idea what to do.

Thanks.

Well the best way to stop toasting those wires is to visit Autozone or one off the local speed shops and get a set of the wire rails that hold the spark plug wires on the top side of the valve cover and then lets each wire drop off over the perspective plug the kit runs about $30.00 and that will pay for a set of plug wires in just a little while.

Re: Spark Plug Wire problems.

I bought some wire looms for my custom wires to avoid this problem on my 360 with headers. Got 'em at the local Pep Boys for about $35. They look good and catch all the tools I drop when I'm working on the engine!
