Re: MT Baja Claws
I've been running a set of 35x13.50x15s for awhile now and am generally very happy with their performance. However, a couple of things to consider. They get a good healthy howl going down the road once you get up to speed, (I have the bias ply, stronger). They take a little while to break in, ie. for the first 3 or 4 runs I took them on I had to air down to about 6psi before they would show any sidewall flex at all. With time they become a bit more pliant, I generally run them at about 8psi now and find that to be about right. Also, they actually measure out to about 34 inches, so if your not sure about going with 33" or 35", and you have the room, go with the 35".
Other than that, I have found that they get great traction in almost all conditions. Great in the mud, self clean really well. Pretty darn good on the rocks as well. Have yet to have them in the snow, but I hear they work real well there as well. Theres a good pitch on them. I'm sure you will find someone out there who hates them, but it won't be me.
