Re: Black Rockcrawler rims, worth it or junk?

I got a set of those for my beater truck a month ago. I needed new tires and couldn't put brand new tires on rusty bent up wheels, so I ordered a set from 4 Wheel Parts Wholsalers. I have to say I was pleasantly suprised with the quality! The Black powdercoat (I think) finish was without flaws and VERY shiny. They all balanced with minimal weights, and look pretty good! They were even all the right size and bolt pattern (despite what I've heard about that mail order company). I don't have any pics of them on my Dodge, but I got the 15 x 7's for P235/75-15 tires. For your 31x10.5's I'd get the 15 x 8's. The 10" wheels will be too wide.

I run them all the time. They are very tough, and affordable. I like to run beadlocks usually, but these are my second choice. Here is a pic.

They sell those same wheels at PepBoys for $35. If you have one near you, check them out. It will save you on shipping anyway. I think the standard backspacing is 3.5 for those. I could be wrong though. I'm planning on buying the 15X8's and running 32X11.50X15 MT's on them.

Sears has those rims for $36. I have them on my samurai and my cj. No complaints other than the dog likes to pee on them.
