Winter sports to avoid

Well, we went on a little adventure over this last weekend up in NH with the Jeeps. Stayed on top of a mountain in a cabin only accessable by Jeep. Had a great time and played some great Winter Jeep Games. One of these games, unfortunately, destroyed my buddies front axle. You see, we brought his jeep out onto the frozen lake in front of the cabin, (no way I was bringing mine out there, had to have at least one on dry ground doncha'know), and used it to tow us around on a blue tarp with a tow strap. Everything was fun and games until he decided to do some donuts in fourwheel drive, with lockers in the front. Yep, as you might have guessed, the front axle shafts really didn't like this move. Tore the yokes totally apart so that there wasn't even any metal left to worry about getting in the way on the drive home. OOOOPPPPPPSSSSSSSSS!!!!!! So, let this be a lesson to all of you Jeep kids out there who have yet to play on the ice with your jeeps. DON'T DO DONUTS IN FOURWHEEL DRIVE WITH LOCKERS. Oh well, seasons almost over anyway. I guess I know what his winter jeep project for the year is.

Happy Holidaze all,

G-Man, 83' CJ7, Detroit's and 4.56's front and rear, 35 Baja Claws
Wheel it today, it could be a housing development tomorrow.
