Where do you get your steel and dimond plate

For the new jeep I plan of fabbing a fair amount of projects and don't know where to get my steel and dimond plate (not the stuff you eat off of). Are there steel supply shops, can anybody recomend one in chicago land area?
Thanks,

Re: Where do you get your steel and dimond plate

Yes , go to a steel dealer or fabricator , they sell it for much less than Home Depot etc.. When I re-did my CJ tub I bought 4 sheets of 18 GA body quality steel for 12 bucks a sheet . Great stuff . I priced out some diamond plate he had there and it was cheap , most of it he considered scrap , it was all left overs from highway tractor headache racks etc...
Good Luck .
