My project is getting together! Pics

Well i took the jeep completely apart last september. I have been working on it since then. I bought another CJ5 with a brand new, never installed 4.1L V6. I am putting Hydrolic clutch in, firewall swinging pedals, new floor boards, fixing other rust spots, rebuild transfercase... and others i havn't even thought of and haven't done yet. Here are some pics of the tub and engine i got. I will get more when i get time.

This pic is the rear of the body tub. The jeep is a 1963 Cj5.

Re: My project is getting together! Pics

Here is the picture of the new floorboards. It is one piece of galvanized sheetmetal. My friend is really helping me out by welding it together. I have a 3 inch body lift so the tunnel is not really needed.

Re: My project is getting together! Pics

Here is the pictures of my new engine. it is a 4.1L buick V6. I got it completely redone, never installed for $500. It came with a 69 CJ5 that will be put together with parts from my jeep.

My eyes, my eyes! That bright shiny red engine is hurting my eyes! Very cool Jeep. Even more reason for me to get my Wrangler running again before I leave so I can come up and see how its coming along.

Re: My project is getting together! Pics

WildCJ5, thanks for putting the photos up. i forgot the secret to post them. Could you give me the HTML code to use?

Sycho 15,
It is real pretty to look at but give it a month or two and it will look like the old engine. Just not sound and act like it. How is the tranny coming on the Wrangler?? Our club has been pretty low key lately because of the holidays but i cant wait till january. time for some camping.
