Which fuel pump for the swap?

Need to know which fuel pump to get for a 258 to 4.0 swap into a CJ-7, not going with the one in the tank but want an inline. So what I need to know is the different ones that you swap guys have put in and had it work.

Re: Which fuel pump for the swap?

I got mine from Autozone. I believe it was an E2000. I beleive if you ask for a fuel pump for an '89 F150 with a 5.0 you will get the same one. It was only $79 and has a lifetime warranty.<img src=http://cgi.tripod.com/smilecwm/cgi-bin/s/net/biggrin.gif>

Re: Which fuel pump for the swap?

I should also add that I used the fuel filter for the same application. (Ford truck) I also used a couple of brackets off of a Subaru. Coil and fuel filter. I have attached a photo.

Re: Which fuel pump for the swap?

This was Parts Mike's suggestion to this question ...
"The pump that was on the Ford E150-350 vans 1988-90, the Borg Warner parts number is EP7109 will handle the job and mounts externally on the frame close to the tank. Mike"
