Ignition problem.Dont want 2 miss trails tomorrow.

Alright I need help quick.I am going on a "trail run" I guess tomorrow and havent been for a while.I bought some ignition waterproofer and a new distributer(mine had a crack in it and it the jeep didnt run very well).Well when I put the new distributer cap on and sprayed waterproofer all over the plugs and around and I think on the rotor..Well I cant get the jeep to start. Is this my problem?Am I going to have to buy a new rotor? At first I thought it was the firing order but I looked at my book and changed it a bit..I have a 258 I-6 1976 CJ-5.Im pretty sure the firing order is right but she wants to start but she doesnt. It will turn over then die.I dont think its the starter and the battery is new. After I got everything on (I think its right) the carb spit out some gas.Im really confused and want to be ready tomorrow morning PLEASE HELP!!

If knowledge=power and time=money.. please donate all your time and knowledge to my jeep!
