waterproofing my distributor on the cj + my rc t/j

I bought some ignition waterproofer from autozone and a new distributor.Where do I spray the waterproofer? Also i bought a jeep wrangler tj from my work yesterday(target) it was only 7.99 but it makes me mad!!!I bought the cheap one so it doesnt have the left/right controls on it.It has some wierd way to do it though. But anyway im waterproofing it with silicone and that waterproof stuff.I hope it works or im returning it at 5 when i go to work !This TJ sure gets stuck easy!

If knowledge=power and time=money.. please donate all your time and knowledge to my jeep!

Damn't!Project TJ Remote control waterproof failed!!!!!!This makes me mad, but I guess I shouldnt have done with it what I did.I put silicone where the battery is and around so water wouldnt get in there. Then I sprayed that waterproof ignition stuff all over the car.Hey it worked for a minute well whne we where about headlight deep. Then I guess the rest of the car "hydrolocked."I lost all communication with operation tj(it wont go in reverse!)c and it wont turn off.I had to pull the batteries out. They better accept my return at work!

<font face="Comic Sans MS">Here's a website you may want to check out: http://www.rcmt.net/magazine/magazine.htm They have a few articles about how to waterproof or attempt to waterproof RC vehicles. Might give you some tips... Let us know what happens.
