TJ -heater don\'t work

This is my first winter with a TJ. The weather has not gotten really cold yet except for a few mornings and already the heater is not working well. I did not have this problem with my YJ. I have plenty of coolant in the radiator and the temp guage shows 210 when fully warmed up but the air coming from the heater is only lukewarm. (damn I miss my YJ) Oh yea, both the 97 TJ and the former 95 YJ are 2.5 four cylinders with 5 speed and hardtops. The YJ would get so hot you could be in shirt sleeves with the window down in the snow but with the TJ I am looking for more clothes to put on and all we had was a light frost. The only real difference is the TJ has A/C.
Anybody else got this problem and any solutions to get some heat inside this thing?

Take it to a dealership and have them take a look at it. A decent dealership, or TJ mechanic for that matter, can probably diagnose it easily and cheaply. It's probably just a blocked or kinked heater core line.

Re: TJ -heater don\'t work

Even if it were still in warranty I wouldn't let those idiots at the closest dealership near my Jeep. I discovered with my YJ that I know more about a Jeep than they do. They might be able to fix their VW's or Hyundia's but not a Jeep. Besides why would I pay them $60 - $75 per hour shop rate for them to fart around and say I don't know. If it were major work then I would take it to a dealer a lot farther away that does good work.
I am just looking for something I have obviously overlooked.
