Saga of Troubles

Ok now that I spent the time checking my flexplate.. it turns out.. There is no crack, no bolts are missing, no bolts are loose, nothing is hitting anything that I can see.. Today i notice this though when i accelerate I hear a WHistling Sound coming from below? What could this be? Still makes the Rock Tumbling Sound when i stop... *Sounds are only heard in gear-if in park/neutral there is no sound even when I rev the engine? Where is the noise coming from what else should I check -

Re: Saga of Troubles

Just a piece of diagnosis advice. Pick you up a mechanic's stethoscope (or hold a piece of hose to your ear). It can really help narrow down your problem. Right now, the sound is bouncing off of every surface under your jeep, and you don't have a clue where it's coming from. If you have a short piece of a good sized (diameter) hose..... you may just find out what's making that noise.

They make actual stethoscopes for mechanics.... but you hardly ever need them. But when you need them..... boy howdy!! They can be a life saver.
