Cutlas hubs, CJ drum brake diameter?

Anybody know anything about "Cutlas" hubs? Are they worth using? I got some with some other CJ5 axle parts. All I know is that they were aftermarket hubs from the 60's or 70's..... kinda funky looking with the big knurled knob; internally they look pretty solid, but the housing is stamped steel instead of the cast and machined housing that Warn uses.

I also got 11" drum brakes on an AMC 20 rear axle. Are these enough better than the 10" ones I have to bother putting them on my 79 CJ5?

Most politicians aren't crooks, but the ones that are sure are making the other 10 percent look bad.

Nobody knows anything about Cutlas hubs or has an opinion on CJ rear drum diameter?

I have only seen one set of Cutlas hubs. I have been told that they are really good ones, but replacing one if you break one might be tough since I don't know where you would find another one.
As for the 11" brakes for the Model 20 rear. They are a very good replacement for your 10" brakes. I have a set for mine but haven't had a chance to change them over yet.
Hope this helps.

Cutlass hubs are fine. You won't have fun trying to find replacement parts but you have them so they don't
cost you anything. If you break one step up and buy Warn's and use the other for a spare. Just my
humble opinion. Nickmil.

Well, I've got the Warns on my Jeep now, so I can keep the Cutlas's as a spare, or the other way around.

The Cutlass' are fine if you can find someone that's restoring a jeep, or driving it on the road. I have seen a few sets, but understand you can't buy them anymore, or the parts for them. I also believe they're not as strong as a Warn, but they may get you out of the woods. Maybe Ebay them, get the money, and buy a set of Warns, use the sxtra $$$ to get some SWB BBS stickers or something. I'm sure a collector would snap them up.
