Tranny Mount. Do they all use the same one?

Are all of the jeep tranny mounts the same height? I am using a TH400 with a dana20 adapter. It seems as if the tranny mount is to high and since the D20 skid plate has that hump for the tranny mount, the tranny is sitting a little to high in my opionion. I was hoping maybe I just have the wrong mount in there and I can get a lower (one with less height) and it will drop the trans a little.

Thanks.

all the catalog list one part number for all jeeps. I replaced my T-150 with a T-18a (TOTALLY different tranny) but they used the same mount.

Same mount for all CJ's '72-'86 no matter what trans came in it. They just made a different bracket (I think) for the auto's.

I Think the d300 skid plate is flater, no large hump. I had one under my 81 CJ7 with a t18/d20 combo. I had to notch it to get the t18 to fit. Might check into this.

I think I am going to end up cutting "the hump" out of the d20 skid plate and weld in a flat piece of steel there so its lower and just drill the holes. That shouldn't be to difficult to do.
