Ramsey pro 9000?

Has anyone taken one of these apart to clean up the brushes or anything? Mine is getting to be pretty much a slug.I'm going to put new cables on it first, but was wondering if cleaning up the brushes and such was feasible.I've taken many a starter apart and I figure it's pretty much the same thing... Just want to see what lies ahead!!

I'm replacing the cables and cleaning up the solenoids. I have been thinking about doing what you are talking about, just haven't gotten around to doing it yet. ken
