Mud Fest DJ\'s--$50.00 Fine

That's right they recieved a fine for $50.00.

It's not what you bought,
it's what you built and
what you do with it!

It seems to me they got off very light!
I don't know the details, but at first glance, that was a "tread lightly" nightmare. On someone's private property. Ouch!
They will be lucky if he doesn’t press charges.

They should give them the bill for the cleanup. Or the landowner should take them to court. Just being apologetic doesn't cut the mustard.

There's more to it than just the $50 fine. The district attorney is still investigating and may be pressing criminal charges. The landowner has an environmental firm up there right now to determine what it's going to cost to reclaim the area. Depending on the costs, he may sue them trespassers and the radio station for damages. It's not over yet!

What ticks me off is these guys would put someone UNDER the jailhouse if they owned that property. I hope the owner sues their a$$ off in civil court.
