Looking for Good YJ Flares

Anyone have a flare recommendation for a YJ with 32's and a 2.5 inch lift? I think that i only need new read flares, the front stock flares are boxier but my rear flares are too round and they are really close to the tire and they rub on bumps.

Re: Looking for Good YJ Flares

Are you running a 2.5 body lift or suspension. The reason I ask is I am wanting to put 32's on my yj with a 2 inch body lift and was wondering if I would have the same problem.

1990 Wrangler YJ 4.2 6 cylinder 5 speed manual trans. Stock for now.

Get some TJ flares, they will allow you to cut about 2" out of your wheelwell. If you need wider flares, I have a set of Xenon 6" wide TJ flares for sale. They are new, still in the box.

If you put TJ flares on a YJ will you have to cut the wheel well all around or just at the sides?

You actually can install them without cutting any sheetmetal. But, they will allow you to trim sheetmetal all the way around if you choose. I have a set on my CJ with a 4" lift and 33", and the tires no longer rub, plus they look pretty neat.
