The 4.3 is a common swap. The 3.9L dodge would be a very uncommon swap,
and would likely be expensive to do. Noone will make motor mounts (this is
easy to do) or adaptors, etc... But what are you going to do for the running gear? Keeping the D300? If so, how are you mounting it to the dodge? What about wiring.
Not saying it can't be done (there isn't much that can't...), just you'll possibly facing issues that no one else has faced yet... Bottom line, do your home work before buying if you have the time.

If is a 4 wheel drive, the transfer case will likely be a 231 or 241, both share the bolt pattern with the 300. I have a Dodge 1500 with the 5.2 and if has the 241. These are the same transfer cases as the wranglers (well almost). You might drop an e-mail to CJ-8/5.2Mag.
