Anyone have CJ knuckles on a D44
I think i solved my problem, but am waiting on parts to finish. When i swapped in a Grand Waggonneer D44 under my YJ, i had steering problems. The tierod on the Gwag is further foreward than on a YJ or Cj. This caused the tierod to be directly under the draglink, and suspension compression caused them to hit together. CJ knuckles should bolt in, and are the same length as stock, but i need to redrill the backing plate to properly index the caliper. the spindle bolts on, but the clocking is different. Any experience?? please let me know what you have found out
by the way, my jeep has 2 1/2 lift springs and one inck shackles, and is spring under.
