Taking the Rat\'s Nest out from under the Hood

I recently bought a 4wdh aluminum valve cover and a Weber carb. Since I was doing this work I figures that I would just remove all the vacuum hoses related to emision equipment. What is the easiest way to plug all the vacuum lines when I get rid of the hoses? Where I live we don't have emision testing. Thanks.

Just start pulling hoses and plugging fittings with those rubber nipple things. If you're unsure of what a line does, yank it off and see if it still runs. This is what we did on a friends carburated YJ, and ended up with enough hose to plumb a hotel!

Golf tees work well to plug the lines but look bad. I've seen little rubber caps at auto parts stores that are made for the job. Theya re cheap and fit right over the nipple. I usually see them in jumbo packs with multiple sizes.
