Re: Does anybody name their Jeeps?

I did not name my Jeep, but after I cut the fenders a guy in our club started calling it 'The Fatty-Flattie'. Like High5 said I normally call it 'Heep', or on a rare occassion I will call it 'Joop'.

Common sense is genius dressed in working clothes.

Re: Does anybody name their Jeeps?

The Scrambler says "SCRAMBLED" on the hood, I was bored one day and got creative with the paint marker. No names though, too busy to think of one, but everyone calls it the Scrammando, don't know why.

Re: Does anybody name their Jeeps?

I just call my CJ "P.O.S" cause that's really what it is. The ex called it Joop, for reasons that were discussed far too indepth earlier. I like to think of it as the
Blue Blazer, cause it's blue, and in honor of Owen Hart.

Re: Does anybody name their Jeeps?

My wife's family has always named their vehicles, so the tradition continues, from their Thrash, to Herman, (An old 72 Chevy 4x4 with 350,000), to my wife's 4-runner, Nellie, which made my truck Percival (Little House on the Prairie) But the Jeep is still waiting, (other than Fool Injected)

OK, wrong picture, but that could use a name to, our race truck here in Tucson, but how about a picture of my JEEP

Re: Does anybody name their Jeeps?

My freinds usually refere to the YJ as "Thud", for the sound it makes when it lands on its lid. I usually call it "Bondo".

Re: Does anybody name their Jeeps?

My wife and daughter call my CJ-7 "That piece of Junk". I call it FrankenJeep because it has parts from seven Jeeps incorporated in it; 3 CJ-7s, 1 CJ-5, 1 DJ-5, 2 YJs. Plus lots of non-Jeep and aftermarket parts. At one time it was also called "Jeep of Many Colors" because all those parts from donor Jeeps were never the same color! A good paint job solved that problem.

Re: Does anybody name their Jeeps?

I call mine Black Hole. First because it's painted black and second because it's that black hole all my money goes into.
