Who sells a radiator for my Chevy motor in my CJ?

I know 4wd sells them but they are so expensive. I was wondering if there was anyone else out there who sells them. ALso, is it possible to keep my jeep radiator and just make a hose that will work? Has anyone done this? Any help would be great. Thanks.

The aluminum Griffins are supposed to be really good, though they're really expensive. I got a 3 core radiator (not Griffin) from a local radiator shop. Just look up "radiator" in the phone book. I think mine was $180 (cash, $200 if I charged it)

I seem to remember reading somewhere that a 92' camaro radiator will work. Here it is, in the a/a instruction manual. they use an aluminum rad from modine that is the exact replacement for a 92' camaro. they're putting it a yj,if that makes a dif. you might want to look in the bone yards for a camaro rad and see if it will fit. good luck,James

yes.. I just sold my other cj with a 350 in it.. it had an aluminum radiator from a camero in it. it doesn't bolt into the grill like the cj one does, but there is plenty of room to bolt it to the back of the grill.. it's a thin radiator. i even modified the shroud from the camero and it worked good..

You can take your radiator to a local shop and have the outlets moved the correct sides. Might check the pricing.

Re: Who sells a radiator for my Chevy motor in my CJ?

I put a generic Chevy 4-core in my Willys. It was $150 from Summit. I had to make brackets to mount it to the grill, but it fits great. I used a universal hose on top and found a lower hose at Napa. I just went through their book until I found one that looked like the right bend. Trimmed off a few inches and it fit perfectly.

I gave a hundred bucks for my Griffin. If you call factory in Anderson, SOuth Carolina, they will sell you one that has bent or damaged fins. They will tank it and send it to you and give you a new warranty.
