replacing outer pinion seal and yoke on dana30

Can I just remove the pinion nut and replace the seal and put a different yoke on there or is there a crush sleeve that I have to worry about?
Thanks

The Dana 30 does not have the crush washer. Go ahead and replace the seal. The Dana 35 is another story.

Tip:
I always save a few tin cans from the kitchen for paint, parts washing, etc ...
I used one of these cans that happened to be the right size to seat the new seal on my Dana 30.
I used a mallet and the open edge of the can to tap in the new seal.
The can got crushed a little but not before the seal was down!
