Is a Laredo wiring harness different

I have a 85 Laredo that has had an engine fire. Is the wiring harness diferent in the Laredo's than the other models? Do they add the connectors for the tach, clock, a/c to the Laredo harness, or do they have them on the other models but just don't use them. Thanks in advance.

Re: Is a Laredo wiring harness different

What year/make/model is your Jeep? I've got a 76 CJ7 and I just had the same problem. I ordered the Painless Wiring Kit (10110). It is for "all" 76-86 CJ's. If you have a 76-86 CJ, make sure you get this kit. This kit is Pre-terminated, so you don't have to spend your days playing with crimpers. Also, this kit will replace everything, all the way down to the light bulbs. (Not including the headlights.) It's a great kit; I recommend it to anyone rebuilding a CJ.

PS – Here is the info on the kit I got.

Total Price Manufacturer Model Vendor
$349.95 Painless Wiring PRF-10110 Summit
