where to put CD changer

It's not a difficult tech question I know, but I was wondering if anyone has any good ideas on where to put a CD changer in my YJ. I don't really want to make it visible for obvious reasons, but needs to be somewhere it won't get beat up and get access to. Anybody got any ideas ??

Re: where to put CD changer

When I had my first 95YJ I had one of those steel horse center consoles in it. I took out the little ice chest and put a Alpine 6 disk changer and a pioneer amp in it. They fit perfectly. I did mount the amp but the changer I just wedged it in. I didn't even have any skipping problems. When I wanted to change CD's I just lifted the arm rest and pulled out the cassette. In the bottom I drilled the holes for all the wiring. Worked for me.

I may not like what you say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.
