It's still just a frame, but it's been revamped with a new 4WD Hardware heavy duty rear crossmember, Jeff Layton custom heavy duty tall rear shock mounts, Vince Nicolau custom repro body mount brackets, rear relocated YJ spring hangers, and some patches I made out of Jeepskate I's old rear crossmember. Thanks again to FarmJeep for his welding work (BTW: I may need you back again for 5 plates and 2 more spring hangers...I'll decide what I'm doing this weekend). Final prep and first paint starts this weekend...should be a rolling frame again next weekend.

Re: Newest pic

If only I had the time and space to do a "frame off". Its something that I would love to do. In my case I am always fixing things on Saturday night to go wheeling on Sunday.

Maybe at one point I will be able to do the stuff you guys do... One day.

Keep us posted with new pics..

Re: Newest pic

Jeepskate i'm at about the same point in my rebuild. I posted a pic of my frame a few weeks ago. Don't work on it as much as i should, but when i do i can't stop. The wife has to come pull me out of the garage. I am welding up brackets right now to move the spring hangers outboard on the front. Good luck and keep the pics coming.

Re: Newest pic

Hehe...I've got an attached garage, so my wife just bangs on the wall until I give up and go to see what she wants . I actually get most of my work done between 10pm and whenever I can't see straight any longer...she's asleep then and can't hear me on the other side of the house. I'll be updating my web site on Monday with write-ups and pics. Good luck to you too.
