Slapping in a 350...

I found a 350 for a few hundred dollars... I was wondering which automatic tranny I should mate this to and which xfer case should I use? What needs to be done? I have the axles and gears to hold up to the brute I just need some help.. 78 CJ7 w/ 304 V8, TH400 Auto, Quadratrac

if you want to stay with your q-track then just get a chevy th400 and swap the guts with your tranny. this will allow you to run the q-track and the chevy 400 will have the bolt pattern you need for your motor.
