steering boxes

Are the power steering boxes interchangeable between wranglers and CJ's? I just bought a new CJ box, but am wondering if I can
use a wrangler pitman arm on it. The reason I want to do this is because I have like 1" lift on the front, part of which unfortunatly
comes from some shackles that are about an inch longer than stock. The wrangler arm is dropped more than the CJ arm, but not
as much as the aftermarket arms I've seen. Also is it ok to put a slight shim, 2.5 degree in the front for better caster?

Re: steering boxes

You can the YJ pittman, but you will need to put a few notches in it. (Three I think) You can use a file or a hacksaw to notch it.

Common sense is genius dressed in working clothes.
