After all of this worrying the front axle went in like butter and fit like a
glove (with a tad of grinding). All of the worrying was due to some dumb
little measurement that the U-bolt place took and it never clicked in my
head (too embarresed to admit what). Thanks to Rick B for pointing this out
Saturday and making me fell much better. Regardless, because they botched
this measurement (i should of caught it anyway) they lost out on my biz and
i ending up finding the u-bolts at pep boys that were almost the right size
(with a little bending) for about 1/3 the $$ they wanted.
The axle was almost a direct bolt in and the hardest part of all was making
the spring plates and bending the ubolts.
