Pic Questions

I tried to attach a picture to a post. I got a message that my graphic was too large. 540,224 bytes. I thought it could be up to 1,000,000 bytes. What happened?

I've also noticed that some imbed pics in the body of their message. How'd they do that?

Thanks,
Joey

Re: Pic Questions

Nope 50 000 max. To get pictures in your posts you use the board mark-up codes. {url}www.yourpictureurlgoeshere.com{/url} except replace the "{}" with "[ ]". hope it helps!

Re: Pic Questions

I thought it was {image}www.urlofpichere{/image} except you use [ and ] instead of { and }

Re: Pic Questions

oops, your right. Don't know what I was thinking. {image} tags are for pics, and {url} ones are for addresses

Re: Pic Questions

I believe with the new software you can now attach a pic up to 100,000 bytes.

Re: Pic Questions

Joey, try converting the image type to a .jpg.
This should help with the size of the file.

This is what a posted pic looks like.

Re: Pic Questions

Don't listen to me, I don't know what I'm taking about It is 100000 bytes, I just checked. That's 0/2 for me so far in this post
