4.0 Head on a 258, WHY?

I've been reading about several people here doing this
conversion. What is to be gained by the 4.0 head on a 258?
What are the reasons for doing this? And what all is needed and required to do this project? I tried to do a search, but came up empty. Thanx for any and all info....Bill

people do this swap to put the fuel injection on their 258.. im not sure what all is involved.. but i know some of the waterjackets dont line up.. and you need to do something with them.. several people have done it on here.. but usually you can get a 4.0 at a boneyard complete for probably about the same amount of money.. and i would just swap the hole thing.. 258 is a bit longer stroke producing slightly higher torque numbers.. but its not whole lot..
