need some measurements

sorry to keep bugging you guys, i am replacing a 258 with a 360 in my scout, and i want to use those bomb proof mounts, but i'm not sure if my frame is similar enough in width, to use them. if someone with a cj-5 and someone with a cj-7 would be so kind as to measure the inside of the frame rails, where the motor mounts would attach, i would be ever so grateful. also i'm curious if the cj's had boxed frames in the front, or if they were c-style.

thank you so much in advance,
Kyle

p.s., if any of you guys are ever in need of scout measurments for whatever rason, feel free to e-mail me.

Re: need some measurements

Any reason to go to the garage and look @ my jeep is a good reason. I have an 84 cj-7 and I measured 25 5/8" inside from frame rail to frame rail. The frame rail is two c chanels one smaller then the other welded together to make a box frame. The last 4" on the very front is just a c chanel.
I hope this helps you.
