Best rebuild kit for Dana 18

After the last jeep run I noticed a grinding sound when 4 wheel drive is engaged. I haven't checked it yet, but i am thinking it is time for a rebuild. Who has the best prices for the rebuild kit for this transfer case, and the best quality. I checked the case through the inspection plate and noticed the gear closest to the front has a little wear, but it is not bad, so i can keep the gears.
Thanks for any help

Re: Best rebuild kit for Dana 18

I bought a kit from JC Whitney ( I know) the kit included gaskets, roller bearing. No gears. It not really the best kit but beside the gears there is not much in the case.

Re: Best rebuild kit for Dana 18

Thanks guys for the help. About how much do these kits cost? I have to budget to get the kit, but hopefully it won't need a rebuild, but i probably should since that is the last piece on my jeep not replaced/upgraded.
Thanks

Cool. I might have to get off my butt and pull off my tranny and transfer case. I need to put an oil slinger in my Tranny also. Thanks Brownbagg. Also when i pull my transfer case i can count the teeth to get an overdrive.
