valve cover suggestions

I have a small leak around my valve cover. It's a 258 I6 engine. I need some suggestions on what kind of valve cover to get to stop this problem. I've heard that the 4wd hardware valve cover works pretty good, and I've seen the Clifford, but haven't really heard anything about it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Andy

Re: valve cover suggestions

The one from 4WD-Hardware has been on since I re-built the top end of my 258 about 7 months ago. Never a leak since! I have been told if you get the Clifford cover you will be beating yourself in the head later!

Re: valve cover suggestions

There's been quite a bit of discussion on this subject on this board, you might want to search for it. I've also heard what AustinJPR said, the Clifford valve cover seems to have baffle problems. There is also another one made by an outfit in S. Cal., shaped more like the stocker, but pricey, sorry can' remember the name. Me, I've always put up with the stupid plastic one, leaks and all, just a cheapskate I guess.
