Beard Seats

Anyone using Beard seats? Their prices are not as bad as some of the other seat manuf. and they make custom seat mounts for cj's. I know the best thing I could do is go to a junkyard and look for some seats, but finding anything decent around here is nearly impossible. For the past 2 years during my frame off build up, I've only found a bellhousing from a junkyard that I could use. The rest of the time, the yard doesn't have it, or they are pretty much of no help at all. Thanks.

Re: Beard Seats

We have a similar seat in our CJ7. The strength, comfort and great wear are the strong points. We have seats made by Mastercraft, this is our third set, first in our early Bronce, then in a Baja Bug and now the Jeep. We have been very happy with the service. We ordered a set of covers to replace the old ones and they actually fit perfectly. They also have a web site, www.mastercraftseats.com

I think we have what they are now calling the "PreRun" though I'm not certain. Might be worth looking into also. John
