Re: Anyone from Las Vegas

When I lived in the Vegas area, I used to belong to the Vegas Valley Four Wheelers. That was around 10 yrs ago. Was a good group then. Try

Re: Anyone from Las Vegas

Las Vegas? yeah I finally made it out here.
I couldnt get my finall inspections on the Reno project until Friday, so I had to fly out to Vegas on Thursday morning and back Thursday evening, then finished my inspections on friday morning and drove out from Reno to Vegas in the afternoon. That is one desolate drive, down Hwy 95.
I drove up and down the strip Saturday afternoon, and didnt get a single wave from any Jeep. It was a little fun though taking in the sights with the top off.
I was planning on visiting the local 4x4 shops tomorrow and introducing myself.
Im working at the very North end of town, in the new Centenial Center (Centenial and Hwy 95). If you want to get together for a beer let me know. In fact the Construction Co i work for already got me an apartment at the Budget Suites on Rancho Dr, so Ill probably walk over to the Fiesta Casino for a Marguerita with Jeepchick a little later today,(evryone at the apartments says they are great margueritas and very cheap durring happy hour).
Permits arent ready for my project yet, so I may have a little free time over the next week or so, to get out and do some more exploring also.
