Tow Bars

Since front 2" class III receivers are pretty common nowadays, how come no one is making a tow bar that utilizes the receiver? Seems simple to me. 2 pieces of straight 2" square tubing with some type of verticle hinge joint. Am I missing something?

Re: Tow Bars

i was just thinking about this myself cause I am going to be making a new front bumper and its going to have the 2" receiver. Maybe it has something to do with how strong it would be. If you notice, Every boat trailer, cargo trailer etc, has the "triagle" shape to the front of it.

What do I know.
