I could really use some help.

My Scrambler originally had a soft top/door set. I eventually replaced them with a 1/4 hard top and a pair of hard doors. When I bought the doors they each had a footman loop and a nylon strap to keep the doors from swinging all the way open. Unfortunately, since my Jeep was a "soft top model" it does not have the two pieces that go on the inside of the cab that the nylon straps hook to.

Any idea where I can find these two hard to find parts? Nobody seems to have them. Thanx.

Re: I could really use some help.

Have you tried 4Wheel Drive Hardware?

If not you can call AMC 4x4 Salvage in Arizona. They will ship a set to you.

You might also try these guys:

They part out old jeeps, so they have lots of this and that. I got one end of a seat belt off them. Considering there was el zippo available locally or in the catalogues, I thought their price was reasonable.

Then there's this one, the jeep boneyard:

I've never personally gotten anything there, but it was in my bookmarks and you might give it a try.

Re: I could really use some help.

Jeep's Unlimited in Colorado has plenty I am sure. I had to get a set of these awhile ago. Their phone number is 303-666-8950 I think. Otherwise look up on the internet for 'Jeeps Unlimited' in Erie Colorado
