TF727 Auto

I am looking for a TF727 in the Michigan area to swap into my 1986 CJ7 AMC 360. The linkage, converter, and flexplate would be also needed.

What does something like this sell for? I have called a couple of salvage yards, but i would rather buy from a fellow jeeper.

The TF999 is becoming tired and i would like to wheel a little harder. Trade or Buy

Re: TF727 Auto

converter is $100 exchange at a local tranny shop ( a rebuilt, just like all others)

linlkage is hard as hell to find!

flexp[late is $45 from Oreillys, or Napa, or whoever.

a core 727 with NP adapter on teh rear will vary say $100-200

no need in buying a running tranny, buy a core, or buy a runner and assume it to be a core, they are cheap and easy to build, do it while its out!

itll be a tough fit for your front driveshaft also if you arent lifted.

Look at buying a complete FSJ with a V8 from 1980 on as a donor, get everything you need in one swoop, a rusty FSJ with a bad motor is damn near worthless.
