T-176 Torque Arm Bushing

I am replacing the torque arm bushings along with the trans mount with new polyurethane ones and I notice that the torque arm bushings leave about 3/8" clearance between the top of the top bushing and the end of the shouldered portion of the bolt that holds the "sandwich" together. The washer bottoms out at the shoulder of the bolt and the whole thing just doesn't look right with that space. Do I need a washer that will slide over the shoulder so I can snug up the sandwich or is this amount of play O.K.

Thanks

Re: T-176 Torque Arm Bushing

i had a t-176 in my jeep at one time. the way you describe your is the way they came. i guess that is the way they are supposed to be. i still run the same setup on my np435 and have never had a problem.
