WE came across what I believe is an oddity today, just wondering if others have seen this, or maybe I'm all crossed up. We went to look at a 1990 Wrangler Islander today, was titled as a 90, the emissions sticker under the hood said 90, but it had a carbureted 258 in it. I thought 89 was the last year for a 258, maybe this was an early run 90 to use up the last of the 258s. Didn't buy it, wanted a 4.0, and believe it or not the kid that owned it had stuffed 33s under a stock Wrangler, can you say no room for suspension movement. 89 was the last year for the 258...right?
