Roll Bar Q\'s...

I'm wanting to add a front bar to my '93 YJ but don't want to if it's a waste of money. I want to make a really good rollcage but not go too far out What would everyone suggest? Should I pull of the stock bar and have a new one made, or should I build from there? I'm going to ad a few triangles to it to strengthen it up. Thanx a bunch! BTW - anyone know what's up with HESCO's page? Thanks....

1993 Wrangler 4.0/5spd, all stock...but not for long!!!!

Re: Roll Bar Q\'s...

they make weld in kits for the yj's. i'm not sure of the manufacturer but these kits are a good start. you can add to these kits (extra bars, gussets, and stringers to the frame) to increase their capabilities to withstand a roll too. i personally think that they are a good place to start and definatly better than just the stock bar.

<font color=blue>Try MORE: I don't know its exact quality, other than MORE is usually pretty good... They make a frame tie in kit, via out-riggers.
