Re: t19scout to chevy

Here is the cheapest way: Buy a ford T-19 out of a two wheel drive pickup (make sure it is a T-19 not the T-18), use the cases and input shaft from the ford, all the guts out of the international. The ford case will need some holes drilled in the back face for the dana 18/20 adapter, but this is easily done by using a bearing and the adapter for a drill guide.
good luck, jjc

Re: t19scout to chevy

Forgot something, the chevy bellhousing pilot bore is a little over an 1/8" bigger than the front bearing retainer on the ford transmission, so you will need to have a bushing made to get a nice slip fit between the transmission and the bellhousing.
good luck, jjc
