TR ignition upgrade

Can I put that in a 92 6cyl or is it only for the older caburated engines? And if its something I just follow the same instructions as the 258? Thanx in advance!

Re: TR ignition upgrade

'92 has the Chrysler ignition on the Chrysler engine.
I haven't even had the hood up on a Chrysler powered jeep in the last year...

The upgrade is for the AMC powered 258 I-6. They have Motorcraft distributors, and bad caps and rotors, and can use all the help they can get.

You can add an MSD 6A box for faster starts, more power and better economy.
Everyone can benefit by going to Capacitive Discharge Ignition and Multiple Discharge Ignition...
Just add the MSD module, and you are ready.
Around $130 for the entry level, and another $20 for the easy hookup wiring harness.
