Couple of quick questions

1) On my 4.2's waterneck, there is a notch. Should the upper radiator hose go past this notch? (the previous owner of the Jeep had the radiator hose pushed way past the notch, and when I move it up it doesn't seem to fit as well.)
2) Anybody know any part numbers for the larger "chevy style" oil filters for the 258. Pep Boys only has the small numbers in the book.
3) On the highway, the Jeep drive smooth under 65 and over, but the wheel shakes left to right around 65, any thoughts?

***** Were degree shims installed when the lift was? Have you had the frond end aligned?

Re: Couple of quick questions

for the filter.. i use the pf 25..mmm.. or the 24.. its one of them..too many nights with Elusive and beer.. its the pre 80 version for the 258.. its way larger than the later versions.. for the notch.. im trying to remember.. shouldnt have to go past it.. make sure you have enough room to put a clamp on it..

Re: Couple of quick questions

Thanks Jeepgod for the filter info, Mangler, i have no idea about the shims, but I can tell you that the vibration began about 3K miles ago. I can think of nothing that was done to the Jeep prior that could cause the vibration, it just developed.
