360 inside frame headers or manifolds?

It is gonna take me a while to get back into Jeeps - so might as well jump right back in

My most recent project has those gawwwwd awful outside-the-frame headers that take up have the fenderwell and are about as ugly as can be

Are replacement stock manifolds available, or possibly an inside the frame header for the 360?

Re: 360 inside frame headers or manifolds?

you can buy factory style manifolds from 4wd hardware........they might have the inframe headers but im not sure about that one

if you get used manifolds check them real good because i have seen alot of cracked ones. i like the manifolds better than the outboard headers too. with them on the outside the exhaust is there for the rocks to eat.

Re: 360 inside frame headers or manifolds?

I put in-frame headers on my 360 in a CJ5 three days ago, they look great and I have tons of tire clearance now. Mine are Dynomax, I got them out of Summit Racing for $90.
P.S. They sound great to!!

Re: 360 inside frame headers or manifolds?

ahhh.... now $90 is what I like to hear! I guess I am so used to paying $300 for ONE header for a Toyota 4 banger that $90 is like music to my ears

You have an idea on a price for the factory style manifolds? If they are more than the $90 inside the frame headers... headers it will be

Yes, TR?

Would you like to make a header or manifold suggestion? I would love to hear it

Factory 304 manifolds available here - with pipes & lifetime mufflers. Haven't looked at them in a long time, but don't recall any cracks. Part of the "Jeep deal"

hey TEX

I would still be interested in coming your way for all of that stuff - it is just getting tough to find a weekend... Isn't the baby due like NOW?

BTW - didn't you say you had a Chevy front clip you wanted gone too? What year?
