Re: Anyone have Detroits on sale?

When I bought mine a couple months ago Randy's had by far the best price. I paid in the area of $430 for the one for my Model 20.

Re: Anyone have Detroits on sale?

Sorry but I should have stated that my friend needs the Detroits to fit a set of Scout Dana 44s he is swapping in. When shopping for mine, Drivetrain Direct matched Rosser's sale price (Oct) on the Detroit for $419, best I'v found. They had a great deal on their "power package" for gears too. (Dana gears with Timken bearing install kits) I bought the whole 9 yards from them. Hopefully they will make my friend a good deal.

Re: Anyone have Detroits on sale?

i think i found the way to get the cheapest price...
step 1 find a few places that say they'll beat anyone
step 2 call for the best price from each quoting the lowest price so far
step 3 repeat until they are annoyed, give you free shipping, and a great price
seems to work pretty good
